ANR utilizes engineered speaker modules which create a counter-balancing noise to cancel out up to 21 decibels of aircraft noise. The system operates on aircraft power ( reduced to 9 volts) or on a single 9 volt battery . ANR kits include a pair of ANR modules, a 9 volt battery pack, a pair of perfect fit silicona gel ear seals, earcup foam insulation , speaker covers,and double sided sticky tape. For HGU-33, HGU-55, and HGU-68 helmets you will need plastic earcups. You can also choose an optional power source and optional ear cups. ANR installation should be be performed at thje factory
