The Hoplite was developed by Special Operation end users to improve visual acuity for Night Vision Goggles (NVGs). The patented technology provides unrivaled speed for adjusting to distance changes from far to near while on Night Vision. The HopliteÍs hinged aperture control allows Operators to stay focused out to infinity while adding visual clarity to objects at a close distance within the one to five foot range. Operators have a critical advantage by being able to easily flip the Focusing Cover closed, instantly improving visual acuity from 20/140 to 20/40. Included with the Hoplite are four (4) aperture accesories designed for any mission, two sizing adapters to allow the Hoplite to fit 12 different NVG models and a sacrificial polycarbonate lens for added protection of NVGs.
